‘The impossibility of felt in the mind of someone sewing', a 4 meter felt shark play on Damian Hirst's world famous shark preserved in formaldehyde ‘The physical impossibility of death in the mind of someone living' The ‘Feltism' exhibition by roaming Artist, Lucy Sparrow was exhibited at Hoxton Gallery in London during Damian Hirst's blockbuster retrospective exhibition at the Tate and will now be showcased at Marburae Art Gallery in Macclesfield. Along with Lucy's ‘Feltism' Marburae Gallery will be showing Manchester based Artist, Kevin J Pocock's work which has recently been selected for John Moores 2012 and will be maintaining its growing reputation for showing international Artists with the haunting photography of Ritty Tascum from Malta and the luminous prints from Swedish born Artists, Lisa Pettersson. The combination of international work and outstanding British Artists makes this another exhibition not to miss! To catch a glimpse of ‘The impossibility of felt in the mind of someone sewing' and other outstanding works at the Pop, Print & Stitch! exhibition visit Marburae Gallery on Athey Street, Macclesfield. The Pop, Print & Stitch! exhibition open evening will take place at 7.00pm - 9.00pm on 6th September 2012. The exhibition will run from 7th September until 13th October 2012.
