About
"I believe that all troubles stem from the misconception that human brains are located in the head. They are not."Diary of a Madman by Nikolai Gogol
Fragments is an ongoing site specific collaboration which utilises the skills of Jairo Zaldua and Nicola Green as experimental printmakers and Katsura Isobe as dancer.
The inspiration and foundations for this project derive from the short story Diary of a Madman by Nikolai Gogol. Through sourcing, dissecting and analysing the content, all artists have woven together their individual interpretations to create the psycho - physical world that is Fragments; a screen printed and mixed media installation combined with an interactive performance.
Viewers are asked to undertake a series of tasks by the artists and dancer exploring their individual and collective state of mind through print, written and physical exercises.
Workshops and performances will be taking place throughout the evening with last entrance at 8.30pm
