The seventh biennial Farnham Schools Art Exhibition showcases over 600 exhibits by pupils aged 9 to 17 from schools in the Farnham area.

The seventh biennial Farnham Schools Art Exhibition will open to the public on 22 September and run until 7 October. Held in the prestigious James Hockey & Galleries at the University for the Creative Arts, the exhibition showcases over 600 exhibits by pupils from 20 schools in the Farnham area.

The exhibition is supported by Farnham Decorative and Fine Arts Society, part of a national organisation which offers members a wide range of art and heritage related activities. The National Association of Decorative and Fine Art Societies (NADFAS) aims to increase awareness and enjoyment of the fine and decorative arts.

The Young Arts committee in Farnham has been holding the Schools Art Exhibition since its beginning in 2000. It has been fortunate enough to have generous local and national sponsors who, despite the economic downturn, have ensured that the exhibition can continue.
