WLSER or ‘Western LifeStyle Everyday Recipe’

‘Western LifeStyle Everyday Recipe’ or ‘WLSER’ is a visually and thought provoking exhibition of drawings by Iker Garcia Barrenetxea which will be showcased at The Vyner Studio from July 28th until 10th August, 2012.

Inspired by many different forms of communication, such as new media, apps, gadgets and links, social media and advertising, and how these ‘ingredients’ work and affect to the human beings day-by-day as a result of unconsciously training of our “analog” brains to establish links with any information we deal with.

Iker’s exhibition goes back to the simplicity of the lines in drawing, influenced by the social saturation of the Olympics and of the British identity, commenting on this through his illustrations of British culture in the throws of its media intensity.
