About
Ai Weiwei: Never SorryWednesday 22 August, 6pm
Ai Weiwei examines the complex intersection of artistic practice and social activism. Bejing-based journalist Alison Klayman gained unprecedented access to the artist during the creation of high-profile works and increasingly public clashes with the Chinese government.
Ai Weiwei: Never Story is also at Chapter 17 - 23 August. For details of screenings please visit our website: chapter.org/27630.html
The screening will be followed by an informal discussion for Come Along Do in Media Point.
The discussion will be led by Gill Nicol who has worked for many organisations including Ikon (Birmingham), Tate Liverpool and Arnolfini (Bristol). In April 2011 she set up lightsgoingon â making contemporary art accessible: lightsgoingon.com
Tickets for Come Along Do are £2.50 and can be booked online or at the Box Office on 029 2030 4400. Please note tickets for the film screening must be purchased separately.
