Simon Linington and William Mackrell - 15 hour Live Performance across London — Not to be missed!

About

On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of July, two contemporary artists, Simon Linington and William Mackrell will be performing an original piece of performance art across London passing some of the capital's famous landmarks. The artists will be rolling their combined body weight in clay from their studio in Hackney to the Hanger gallery at Christie's, South Kensington, the remains of the clay ball (which diminishes as it is rolled) will be featured in the exhibition, ‘I Heart 3D'. The artists will arrive at the Queen Elizabeth Gate entrance of Hyde Park Corner, Hyde Park at approximately 2:30pm on the Sunday. This will be an opportunity to cheer them along on their journey to Christie's South Kensington. For details of their whole route map, please contact Lisa Howard, Education Manager at education@rbs.org.uk or Zana Kingwill, Project Assistant at development@rbs.org.uk The exhibition, ‘I heart 3D', is a collaboration between the Royal British Society of Sculptors and Christie's South Kensington, profiling talented emerging sculptors from the Society's membership. This performance and exhibition is an opportunity to showcase the vibrancy of artistic talent in London at a time when our city is in the world's spotlight. Generously supported by City Financial
