About
For Gasworks' last event of the summer, current artist-in-residence Yashas Shetty (India) will lead an expanded microscope workshop. This will be followed by a live visual and sound performance event in collaboration with invited guests.
EXPANDED MICROSCOPE WORKSHOP

Expanded microscopes are devices that have been developed by Shetty in collaboration with artist and lecturer of micro and nanotechnology Dr. Marc Dusseiller.
Join Shetty in building these expanded microscopes from a range of different materials, which will be used as part of the performance at 7pm.
Yashas Shetty, Sally Golding, Hackspace Big Band + other invited artists.
7 ' 8.30pm
Shetty will premier the expanded microscopes, created during the workshop, to project images and transmit audio of micro-organisms around Gasworks' gallery space.
Shetty will be accompanied by artist Sally Golding who will perform using 16mm film projections and optical sound and Hackspace Big Band whose experimental performances exploit hacked electronic devices.
