The Paris '68 slogan: ‘Take your dreams for Reality’ ought to be taken as a practical methodology Reality-as-we-perceive-it is not fixed, but porous, fragile and reprogrammable. Our first task is intellectual violence - to unlock, jolt, or re-examine our collective ‘psychic-integrity’. Our second task ought to be constructive: nothing less than helping to describe the language with which the world, including ourselves, is programmed - and to reprogram the world. This language will be 'Music'.

For this event, a diversity of artists, musicians and thinkers come together to create a response to the text above. The event will consist of experimentations in Language, Art, Performance and about the Future. There will be a series of performances and video presentations.
Reprogramming the world will be…
Mikhail Karikis shaping his voice, turning from language to music and back referencing John Cage’s notion of the ‘demilitarisation’ of language into sound. Neil Luck from the experimental musical ensemble ACRO presents excerpts from Tryst - minute-long modules, each one a sonic 'tableaux' of different physical 'restraints' and forms of interaction. Neuroscientist and musician Felix Lanzalaco joins us from Glasgow presenting certain developments in brain uploading and related sound works. Egle Vesk develops site-specific interventions and Daniel Oliver will initiate a séance based on the Throbbing Gristle song 'Persuasion', exploring ideas from his current Phd research in audience participation. Non Grata (Estonia) collaborates with London Artists LaHorrox and Robin Bale and Da-Yeon Kim (South Korea) offering a taste of pure chaos via disruption of collective psychic integrity. Finally, Ron Whitehead joins us live from Louisville, Kentucky reading from the Storm Generation Manifesto.
