An exhibition by British photojournalist Guy Smallman

Photojournalist Guy Smallman has made numerous visits to Afghanistan in recent years, documenting the everyday realities faced by ordinary Afghan civilians who are struggling with poverty, drug abuse and unemployment as well as with the direct effects of the war.
His powerful and moving images record the realities of living in a war-torn country and present a very different view from the one we are used to seeing in main stream media coverage.
The exhibition is sponsored by Peace News and includes a special screening of Guy’s short film “Fifteen million Afghans” on Thursday 5th July.
Opening night on 22nd June as part of Praxis New Voices festival event ‘Young Voices – Paths to the Golden Highway’ and open on until 8th July.

Opening times:
Saturday 23 June, 2pm - 5pm
Monday 25 June to Friday 29 June, 5pm - 8pm
Saturday 30 June, 12 noon - 7pm
