About

Do you know 'Die zute Tute'? It is a poem by Kurt Schwitters. Unfortunately there is no proper way to translate into English. En as hja in de poede seach, Dan wieren d'r reade kjessen yn, Und als sie in die Tüte sah, Da waren rote Kirschen drin. Dann make hja de poede ticht, Dan wier de poede ticht. Da war die TUTE zu. K.S. The poem ‘Die zute Tute' by Kurt Schwitters is so to speak the motto of our next exhibition ‘Saeuseln tilgt Lust' (Sighing extinguishes lust). Sounds like a DADA exhibition. But it's not. Perhaps a little… The texts on the works of the artists participating in this group exhibition — Betty Boehm, Selket Chlupka, Philip Loersch and Tim Plamper — were written by an an art text generator. The displayed works — painting, drawing, photography and video - are however all handmade. And worth seeing. The Opening Reception is Saturday June 16th 2012 from 7-9PM. You are cordially invited. The ‘zute Tute' (closed bag) can stay closed but please open the mind and senses.
