About

Multi-media artist Graham Gussin will be in conversation with architect David Chipperfield, hosted by artist and lecturer Jeremy Millar, as part of the London Festival of Architecture. Gussin and Chipperfield will explore their respective relationships to architecture within the city and across areas under regeneration, their re-activation of the familiar, and their engagement of audiences across public sites. David Chipperfield is an internationally significant architect, whose recent UK-based projects include The Hepworth Wakefield, West Yorkshire, and Turner Contemporary, Margate. Gussin's work is often concerned with using different mediums and environments as platforms for performance. Gussin was also involved in the opening of Turner Contemporary, where he presented his performance-event Illumination Rig. Both events are part of Graham Gussin 's exhibition, Animated Environments Part 2, which runs until 1 July at Siobhan Davies Studios. Animated Environments is a series of three exhibitions curated by artist Charles Danby for Siobhan Davies Dance.
