Silent Voices is a sound and video installation created by the young people who access Charlie's YMCA drop-in centre here in Eastbourne, giving them a platform to be heard. Please find e-flyer attached and we have a Facebook event:https://www.facebook.com/events/131404616984568/ The installation is presented across three sites in town with the beach between the Bandstand and the Pier being the centre point, linking both Towner and Charlie's. Look out for surprising interventions at each location, then look and listen to hear the true voices of young Eastbourne in 2012. Locations and Timings: Towner, Devonshire Park: 10am - 6pm Beach, between Bandstand and Pier: 2pm - 7pm Charlies YMCA, 56 Seaside: 7pm - 10pm Silent Voices is a collaborative project between the young people of Eastbourne, Charlie's YMCA, Rhythmix and Towner, the Contemporary Art Museum, funded through Arts Council England's Grants for the Arts.
