In Comes the Black Dog featuring Billy Childish, Leonard Cohen, Emma Thompson & Alabama 3

About

One in five of us will suffer from depression. Yet there is still stigma attached to mental health, so much so it is rarely discussed openly. 'In Comes the Black Dog' inspired by Winston Churchill's famous description of his own depression, is an art movement changing the face of depression. Artists are coming together from around the world to show depression and mental health is nothing to be ashamed of. That in fact, depression can create something beautiful. The artists are holding an exhibition at the Underdog Gallery, SE1 showcasing their work and to raise funds for Depression Alliance. Friday 27th April will kick start with an art auction featuring work from Billy Childish, Leonard Cohen, Emma Thompson & Alabama 3. HMV Next Big Things 'Dray Your Heels' will also be performing! Plus other music acts and DJs. Saturday 28th April is a rap battle!! It promises to be a great, fun event!
