In this weekend workshop participants will be given the necessary tools and insight to create a photographic book. Saturday will be devoted to studying different contemporary publishing ‘models' using examples from the Self Publish, Be Happy Library. From the zine to the traditional perfect-bound photobook, the art of book-making will be the focus of the day. Editing, sequencing and design will be discussed both theoretically and practically, as well as distribution and marketing options for finished titles. On Sunday, participants will work towards making their photographic project into a publication using either In-Design or one of the On-Demand free software.
