Join artist Baptist Coelho in this workshop inspired by one of his artworks in the gallery’s exhibition ‘Social States’. The workshop reverses the usual system of camouflage using participants existing clothing as a starting point, to create a patterned/camouflage environment/space around them.

The more colours and patterns you turn up in, the more interesting the resulting art work!

Camouflage, is a method of concealment that allows an otherwise visible animal, soldier, vehicle or other object to remain unnoticed by blending with its environment. We can see camouflage at work in Coelho’s "Why is he here?", dressed as a soldier, he moved between eight positions in Battersea Park where bombs fell during the World War II, onlookers were asked to document their thoughts on seeing him, as he paused at of the each sites.

FREE ADMISSION, this is a drop in event so booking is not nessecary
