Professor Peter Marshall, University of Warwick Christopher Durston Memorial Lecture Professor Peter Marshall, one of the leading Reformation scholars of his generation, will deliver this year's annual lecture. His research interests are in aspects of religious belief and practice in early modern Britain, particularly the cultural and political impact of the English Reformation. His publications include: Reformation England 1480-1642; The Catholic Priesthood and the English Reformation; Beliefs and the Dead in reformation England. His lecture The Origins of the English Reformation Reconsidered emerges from research for a major new survey for Yale University Press, to be called England's Reformation.
