Nicola Conibere will talk about her choreographic practice, focusing on how she has explored spectatorship through her performance work and academic research. She will discuss the importance of questioning the appearance of certain group formations and activities as representative of participation or equality, and how explorations of the body in performance might contribute to that. She will share her current preoccupation with questions of what we are practicing when we repeatedly go to see theatre, and how these inform her most recent project.
