Sharon leahy-Clark - Three Cornered World

About

Sharon Leahy-Clark graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2001 and has since been shortlisted for a number of major awards including the Jerwood Drawing Prize and the Celeste Art Prize. Her work plays with language, in particular the point at which language breaks down, anarchy reigns and poetry begins. Taking it's title from a novel by Japanese author Natsume Soseki this exhibition includes work across a wide range of mediums including drawing, embroidery and glass-making. Attempting to occupy a place between two worlds, the artworks in The Three Cornered World represent a universe that is part organised and recognisable, and part alien and unearthly.
