Alex Schady and Hadas Kedar: Rulers

Artists Alex Schady and Hadas Kedar worked with groups of students from South Camden Community School to produce a series of films based on a text chosen from William Golding's novel The Lord of the Flies. The source of the text was not revealed to the students until after the filming was complete and the resulting films are a reflection of the students indvidual interpretations of the text, produced in collaboration with Schady and Kedar. Schady and Kedar are long term collaborators with a process-led approach to their artistic practice; working with groups to produce art works collectively. This project is part of Junction, an ongoing series of artists' projects and commissions for King's Cross, produced by Camden Arts Centre.
