McAllister Thomas Fine Art is delighted to present a three person show featuring beautiful and vibrant landscape. The artists being exhibited include:- Yvonne Coomber with her delightful colourful and textured paintings. Much of the influence for her paintings come from her younger years being spent in her mothers homeland — the Emerald Isle.à‚ Her freedom and love of life clearly evident. Andy Waite writes of his beautiful landscape paintings ''...sometimes out walking it is possible to fully immerse oneself in the landscape and allow the senses toà‚ envelop theà‚ subconscious. These moments are fleeting and back in the studio there is a similarà‚ surrender;à‚ the act of paintingà‚ becomes all trust, responseà‚ and letting go...'' Sandy Dooley draws her inspiration from the landscape. The play of light and shadow, and the in-the-moment experience of absorbing the world around her.. Also drawn by her memories of a childhood spent outside, the visual impact and pleasure of that still resonates with her.
