About
As the third in the series of FORT's recently established exhibition program, THE ONE SHOW brings together five London based artists whose subtle use of humor and genuine, sometimes highly personal, gesture celebrates the more absurdly ironic encounters of everyday life. THE ONE SHOW seeks to establish a simple common ground between the five artists, each of whom offer up somewhat whimsical reflections on, and more direct recordings of, the fleeting, often inconsequential moments we all experience in our lives.
Curated by Rob Eagle and Rob Leech, THE ONE SHOW encompasses a series of incidental encounters with work in video, photography and print, in addition to more unconventional media (such as a gobstopper and the sound of Martin Creed blowing raspberries), that reflect the character and dynamics of FORT's exhibition spaces.
