The Internships will be part-time, 1-2 days per week over a three month period from May to August 2011. Orleans House Gallery is an award-winning Local Authority accredited museum in the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames. It is home to the Borough Art Collection, which contains 2,800 works from the 18th century to the present day. The Volunteer Curatorial Intern will support the Curator of Exhibitions and Collections in the administration, research, care and hanging of exhibitions, as well as undertaking digitisation and collections management tasks. A maintenance bursary of £200 will be provided and travel expenses of up to £10 a day covered. Only official applications will be accepted.
