SoundFjord.Dynamic, the live leg of SoundFjord's curatorial programme, is happy to announce a very special performance by Jo Thomas and Tom Richards at The Drop, Stoke Newington on 23 March 2011.

Jo’s music has been critically acclaimed and reviewed for it’s attention to detail and imaginative musical structures. Whilst her research often involves cognition through intuitive visual media (visual scores) and composition with a focus on cyber technology and alternative spaces of projection, working with microsound, glitch and pure tone, the music itself repeatedly explores the polarities of failure and perfection.

Tom, on the other hand, experiments with 'errors'. Extracting alternative or nonsensical electronic functions from familiar objects as diverse as TVs, radios, cine-projectors, lights, turntables, toys and microchips, he creates multi-sensorial sculptures and installations. His live work is a spin-off of the patterns and pulses - digital bits and bytes - he creates; a reflection on the internal functioning of the technologies of recent times.

SoundFjord is extremely privileged to have these two versatile performers on the same bill. Tickets are available in advance for a pocket-friendly £5 (£7 at the door).
