About

The development of the phone from functional tool to object of desire is explored in an exhibition of mini-installations including items, images and sounds from BT Archive chosen by MA Design Writing Criticism students at London College of Communication. The exhibition includes the story of how the language of telephony was invented, how long-distancing calling shrunk the world and the use of sex appeal in phone advertising.
