Tramway is proud to announce the first UK solo exhibition for Alexandre Perigot. Pipedream is the first of a four part series of linked exhibitions taking place in Scotland, France, Spain and Portugal in partnership with La Criée Centre d'Art Contemporain, Rennes, France. Alexandre Perigot's works manipulate paradoxical positions in art and society. They encourage physical immersion into visually and aurally powerful sites whilst enabling a critical distance from them, encouraging us to question our own complicity in or manipulation by the global obsession with ?star-making? and spectacle.
