Isabelle Graw discusses issues raised in her most recent publication High Price - Art between the Market and Celebrity Culture (Sternberg Press 2010, English) and the consequences for curatorial practice.
Isabelle Graw is a Professor for Art Theory and Art History at the Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste (Städelschule) in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where she co-founded the Institute of Art Criticism. She is an art critic and co-founder of the magazine Texte zur Kunst in Berlin.
This is the second in a series of Curatorial Dialogues organised by the Curating Contemporary Art Department at the Royal College of Art in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut London. Graw will be in discussion with Mark Nash, Head of Curating Contemporary Art at the RCA.
