SOLD OUT - Creative Studio: Weaving Rushes 

Discover the use of rushes for weaving and basketry with artist Felicity Irons. During the weekend you will develop your skills and learn traditional rush-weaving techniques, including knotting, plaiting and stitching. You will begin by making a small mat then move on to make other objects, such as hats, baskets and sculptures.

Felicity Irons is a leading rush weaver, working through her business, Rush Matters. She has made basketry and woven floor matting for clients including Ralph Lauren, the National Trust and Historic Royal Palaces.
