David Gray has been working individually on conceptual abstract oil paintings for over 10 years. His paintings relate to diary drawings recorded daily and form a reactive dialogue to environments and social situations.
The paintings are an expression of what is seen and the emotional projection of this onto canvas. The ideas provoke interaction between people, the artistic installations and their environment.
The paintings have themes and stories that are both recognisable to all and can be unique to each individual viewer. These feelings and emotions may be explored via an intimate dialogue between yourself, the work and your personal reactions.
