Fragment Series

Crescent Arts is very pleased to present 'Fragment Series' by resident artist and printmaker Dawn Brooks, comprising work produced over the past year. Dawn explores printmaking and drawing processes which combine drypoint etching and collagraph on a large scale. The images are formed from composite plates worked on as a series to give a sense of temporality, transformation and material change.

The prints, which together form 'Fragment Series', acquire a powerful physical presence through their collective presentation within a space specifically designed and constructed for this exhibition.
