About

John Gray is Emeritus Professor of European Thought at the London School of Economics. He has taught at Oxford, Harvard, Yale and the Autonomous University of Madrid. He now writes full time. His recent books include The Immortalization Commission (Penguin); Gray's Anatomy: Selected Writings (Penguin) and Black Mass: Apocalyptic Religion and the Death of Utopia (Penguin). He writes articles and reviews for The Guardian,The New York Review of Books, The London Review of Books, The New Statesman and other journals.
