About

Join us at Eastside Projects on Thursday 16 December, 6.30 to 8pm, for our last event of the year, when we host a talk by writer, critic, teacher and editor, Sally O'Reilly. She is currently Writer in Residence at the Whitechapel Art Gallery, and regularly contributes to Art Monthly and Frieze, as well as writing catalogue essays for numerous international art exhibitions. As well as an encyclopaedic knowledge of contemporary art, her writing displays a keen awareness of debates in science, politics and critical theory. Sally is also known to have an impressive collection of string*. To attend it's £4 entry on the door, or free for Extra Special People (ESP) members. For more information on joining ESP, visit www.extraspecialpeople.org. Free hot drinks will be available on the night (all being well with the gallery's currently frozen water pipes). *http://www.implicasphere.org.uk/biogs.html
