Salon Art Bizarre is a new concept in modern art fair business. As the name suggests it is an art fair with a difference. This luxury event is open for participation to galleries and individual artists. It is more exclusive and audience orientated than its well known large scale counterparts. Conceived and curated by event organiser and publicist Eugenie Absalom, December Salon Art Bizarre will contribute to Christmas art shopping scene in London. Paintings, sculpture, installations, prints, photography and bespoke jewellery by international contemporary artists, including contemporary Russian artists, will make exquisite and long-lasting gifts to families and friends. Three art galleries: CASSA Art, Gallery Perutz and KALINA and bespoke jewellery company Geoffrey Turk Ltd will take part in Salon Art Bizarre 2010 alongside individual artists Svetlana K-Lie, Sergei Inkatov, Pianocrasher, Keith Krzywicki, Lucy Freud, Zina Bercovici, Wayne Mok, Helene Le Bohec, Cecilia Gheraldo, Victoria Kovalenchikoa, Svetlana Bobrakova and film producer Alicia Maksimova. Set in the heart of London inside the famous John Nash Royal Opera Arcade, Salon Art Bizarre will keep its doors open to the general public throughout the day (9am till 8:00pm) and will present a number of spectacular evening Gala receptions, offering art auctions, live entertainment and raffles with special Art Bizarre Prize to enhance the festive spirit of Christmas. The timing will also take advantage of the November Russian Week art boom at Sotheby's, Christie's, Bonhams and MacDougall's.
