TRUTHinBEAUTY, a UK debut exhibition at the Vyner Street Gallery, begs the question whether island life instills singular faculties of observation, clarity and insight. The question is certainly one which any Londoner will find intriguing. These two former residents of Massachusetts's Nantucket Island offer refreshing, if disparate, meditations on the nature of aesthetics to the London contemporary art scene. Each an award-winning artist in her own right, these two women and long-time friends have combined their considerable talents in this two-person show.
