Beyond Fontana: curated by Stephanie Moran with Cullinan Richards, Louisa Durose, Julie Fagan, Maisie Kendall, Kristen Lovelock, Charlotte Bracegirdle & Stephanie Moran, Brigid McLeer, Laura Morrison, Nicola Williams, Hannah Wooll Cut, Slash, Slit; Hole, Puncture, Piercing, Perforation; Penetration, Wound, Construction This exhibition will expand on Fontana's ‘Spatial Concepts', examining mplications intended and unintended. Or, more accurately, it will exhibit this group of artists in the context of Fontana. Obviously, liberties will be taken. There will be a soundtrack comprising groups such as: The Slits, Hole, Scarling, Daisy Chainsaw, Jack Off Jill, My Ruin, Queenadreena, Babes in Toyland, Bikini Kill, Breeders, Veruca Salt, etc... The exhibition functions as a set of responses to Fontana, and also as a sort of aesthetic equivalent to a post-punk band, complete with zine publication to accompany the exhibition (including an article about the artists).
