An exhibition centred around the voyage of the Bounty from London to Tahiti in 1787 to collect breadfruit plants to grow as food for the African slaves in the West Indies.
This exhibit was originally initiated and shown in the APT Gallery in October 2007 to coincide with the 200th Anniversary of the Abolition of Slavery.

Scott Plear: DON'T LET TRUTH GET IN THE WAY OF A GOOD STORY
Thursday 21 October, 6 - 7pm
An illustrated talk tracing the interpretation of the BOUNTY story in film with reference to the directors, cast, film-locations, musical scores and period attitudes.
