Tour/ Engels and Marx in Manchester
This specially commissioned tour from award winning guide Jonathan Schofield will take you around places of significance for Marx and Engels, whilst incorporating other elements of Manchester’s radical political history. The tour shows how the first industrial society shaped the men whose ideas would change the planet. The Tuesday tour also includes a visit to the 600-year-old Chetham’s Library where the famous duo studied. Meet outside Cornerhouse’s main entrance. The tours last for a maximum of two hours.
