Remember Saro-Wiwa A Living Memorial

About

On November 10th 1995, Ken Saro-Wiwa and eight Ogoni colleagues were executed by the Nigerian state for campaigning against the devastation of the Niger Delta by activities of multinational oil companies. The Bus takes the form of an enormous silver steel Nigerian bus inscribed with the words of Ken Saro-Wiwa, an initiative by the interdisciplinary organisation PLATFORM as part of Remember Saro-Wiwa A Living Memorial. 13 May 4pm to 6pm Dance The Guns To Silence All are invited to participate to an evening of music and poetry to commemorate Ken Saro-Wiwa organised by PLATFORM.
