Stuart Hall Library zine collection launch

As part of the expansion of its collections, the Stuart Hall Library is now establishing a zines and artists' book collection. This new collection will incorporate a wide range of material with a focus on cultural diversity, race, and identity as well as artists' books produced by international authors and artists. The event will act as a launch for the collection, providing a space for discussions which will address the history and importance of zines and their relationship with artists' books, visual art and culture. It will establish the Library as a key resource for zine and art communities. As well as the chance to explore the collection, the launch event will include three short 15 - 20 minute talks with half an hour for discussion and questions.
