Surface Gallery is proud to present its annual summer Open Show which will take place from 20.07.10 to 07.08.10. We would like to invite artists from all backgrounds and disciplines to enter work from any medium. This year's Open Show will be truly OPEN, completely inclusive. Our goal is to initiate and cultivate a multitude of inter-disciplinary murmurings: painters, sculptors, film makers, performers, designers, photographers, writers, poets, architects, geographers, actors, dancers, builders, theorists, gardeners, engineers, musicians, politicians, storytellers, activists, economists and more. If you have a piece of work you believe to be Art then we will consider it. Successful applicants' work will be displayed in our spacious city centre gallery space and the winning artist will be invited back for a two week curated solo show in 2011.
