About

In this major multimedia installation, on display in the UK for the first time since it was created in 2006, French Anarchist Martial Bourdin's failed 1894 attempt to blow up the Royal Observatory is re-imagined as a successful attack. Reflecting on issues of mediation and repetition Dickinson & McCarthy rework newspaper reports from the time and present fake film and photography to fit their version of events.
