The UK's hottest emerging art and design talent will be showcasing their work at Chelsea College of Art and Design's degree show this summer. The annual exhibition features the work of final year undergraduate students and is the perfect place to spot the best and brightest graduates in painting and fine art, interior and textiles design and graphic communication design. Those who fancy making like Charles Saatchi will have an opportunity to pick up work by the next big things before they hit the big time. Chelsea College of Art and Design is one of University of the Arts London's six Colleges. The others are: Camberwell College of Arts, Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London College of Communication, London College of Fashion and Wimbledon College of Art. Highlights of the show include: ”¢ Surrealist and fantastical paintings by Angela Ho ”¢ Large-scale 3D photographic prints by Daniel Sim. Called ‘Waiting Rooms', the series of photographs are part of an ongoing project to photograph abandoned spaces. Daniel then puts the photographs through a process that recreates them as 3D spaces to be viewed with ‘50s style 3D glasses ”¢ Cutting-edge ideas from Graphic Design Communication students including George Harding's game of subuteo designed to illustrate colloquial and regional language - local dialects and distinctive words battle for recognition ”¢ Futuristic colour block textiles from Bethan Smith and quirky pretty prints from Lauren Franks
