About
Contort Yourself brings together the work of three UK based artists who twist, stretch, and reappropriate notions of the construction of the self, through performance, digital video and sound.Presenting video work by artists David Blandy and Harold Offeh, alongside a new commission by Jan Hendrickse, Contort Yourself and its accompanying programme of events will explore the idea of an 'authentic' self-realisation, and critique processes of identity formation and re-formation.
Curated by first year MA Curating Contemporary Art (Inspire) Royal College of Art in partnership with Acme Studios.
