Davy and Kristin McGuire are an artist couple who aim to create magic by making places andà‚ objects come to life. They transform everyday environments into extraordinary events by mixing the medium of film, animation, video art, dance, physical theatre, puppetry and illusionism together. Their productions range from performances for shop windows, staircases, rivers and theatres to music videos, theatrical video installations, performance lectures and pop up books that animate themselves as if by magic. Kristin isà‚ a dancer/choreographer/lecturer and Davy McGuire is a film, animation and theatre maker. Both playfully trespass over the traditional territories of stages, cinema screens and gallery spaces, to create fresh, original productions.
