Ellie Harrison arrived in Glasgow on 15 September 2008 to embark on the Master of Fine Art (MFA) programme at the Glasgow School of Art. Having been starved of critical input for the five years she spent in the ‘real world', she came equipped with a manic desire to radically change her practice, to absorb as much knowledge as possible and to ‘maximise' every aspect of her daily routine. This lecture aims to offer an insight into how she set about organising her time and the contents of her mind, and to explore her tempestuous relationships with work and play.
