A major survey show of Jyll Bradley's work encompassing photography, text and installation from the past 20 years.

About

Bradley's work is often concerned with ‘worlds' that are going through difficult periods of self reflection. These groups and institutions include the Anglican church, the historic Liverpool Botanical Collection and the flower farmers of West Cornwall struggling in the global market. Bradley's light-box pieces have strong sculptural qualities, exploring the space that images and texts occupy in the world. Many pieces use language itself, drawing on literary voices such as Marcel Proust, that have long inspired her practice. The show includes Flower Train a new work for the public realm. Following the course of the train that took Cornish flowers to London markets this image/ text series will be presented on station platforms between Penzance and Paddington, creating an interactive ‘train of thought' for passengers.
