About

To celebrate Peter Randall-Page's major exhibition at YSP as it draws to a close, join the artist in conversation with acclaimed science writer Philip Ball. Randall-Page's work is informed by a lifelong study of organic form. The rich patterns in his sculptures are influenced by the incredible shapes found in the natural world. These inspirations and the relationship between art and science will be the main focus of this fascinating discussion, shedding new light on the artist's exhibition at YSP. Philip Ball is the author of several popular books on science, including works on pattern formation in the natural world, and has written widely on the interactions between art and science. He regularly presents lectures on his work, having spoken at the V&A, NASA and the London School of Economics, and has also presented a series on Radio 4. To book your place please call 01924 830579 or email info@ysp.co.uk Don't miss: YSP Late on the 19 March Experience Peter Randall-Page's stunning exhibition after hours until 8pm then relax with a cold glass of beer or wine and a chef's special for only £10.
