About

GV Art is pleased to present a group exhibition crossing the boundaries of media, ideology and perception.

'Curiosity is natural to the soul of man and interesting objects have a powerful influence on our affections'
Daniel Boone, explorer.

The intention of the artist through their visual explorations can be difficult to trace. From the kernel of an idea to confronting the public arena, a journey takes place and the process can be hard to follow or even detect.

The work exhibited in Objects of Intention bring these questions to the fore ' what is the artists objective with creating the work? Is it the process or the outcome that drives them to explore? And how is the work received by those who are not involved with the history of its development?

This exhibition brings together a group of contemporary artists working across the mediums of painting, sculpture, collage and photography. Artists include Bayard, Albert Binimelis, Moira Chester, David Heathcote, Serge Jupin, Rachel Kohn, Andrew Krasnow, Michal Macku, David Marron, Helen Owen, Ben Panting, Dan Peyton, Diana Peyton, Ina Rosing and Premalya Singh.
