Leading imaging specialist, Epson, today announces its sponsorship of the Smart-Arts exhibition being held at La Galleria, Pall Mall, London from 9th December 2009 in the ROA Gallery . Artist David Holmes designed one of the postage stamps for the 2012 Olympic Games issued by the Royal Mail recently. With this inspiration we have invited several other artists who have also been commissioned to design postage stamps to exhibit and sell their work at a collaborative exhibition. The original works from the participating artists, which include illustrations, photographs and lino cuts, have been scanned or photographed to produce digital files. A limited edition of 30 A3 prints of each work have been produced using Epson's Stylus Photo R2880 A3+ printer and UltraChrome K3 Vivid Magenta ink to ensure accurate colour reproduction and high quality, long lasting prints. Featuring work from : Alan Roxborough , Andrew Davidson , Arthur Robins , Brian Grimwood , Chris Wormell ,Clare Melinsky , David Holmes , George Hardie and Paul Redman . All prints will be in very limited London edition of 30 , signed and numbered by the individual artists. Smart-Arts runs from Thursday 10th December until Tuesday 22nd December 2009 at La Galleria, Pall Mall, London SW1 .
