Ola Kolehmainen uses modern architecture as a new material in his large scale, hand-printed photographs. The order and geometry of these structures are counter-balanced by the presence of a bird perhaps, or elemental damage or by reflections of the surrounding environment. The artist uses the Diasec process of mounting his work, creating a further reflective surface which is an essential element of his work.
