Un Chien Andalou by director Luis Bunuel and artist Salvador Dali.
Over the next few months there will be a series of Surrealist and Experimental films starting with the screening of Un Chien Andalou or An Andolusian Dog by the director Luis Bunuel and the artist Salvador Dali.
Originally released in 1929, this film is a perfect example of films produced during the Surrealist movement where artists experimented with the content and characters in films, often changing lighting effects and experimentally editing scenes to create disjointed and dream-like visions of reality.
